Our resident Dog Behaviourist and Day Care Manager (who also provides dog behaviour consultancy to Drove Vets, the largest veterinary practice in Swindon) has years of experience in decoding dog body language, and she shared this with a very interested group of pet parents and animal professionals during an informal talk on how dog’s communicate both with other dogs and human beings last Friday evening.

Donna’s talk included looking at the various ways in which dogs communicate, using still photos and videos to illustrate her points, and this generated some very interesting conversations around the audience.  She also talked about how humans can misunderstand/misinterpret the signals – and how to prevent getting bitten.
